Through facebook, I was looking for VIP/Vanity/fancy mobile number, I came across a person Anand Kadam. He used a separate page named – VipShop India; for posting VIP numbers of different sites, of different States.
On searching I came across a number 977X700000 for Rs. 13,000. On negotiation he agreed at a value of Rs. 8,500. I was from Punjab (Chandigarh) and the number was from Maharashtra circle.. I sent him my documents, and paid Rs. 6,300 as advance in his HDFC Account named as Kanta Singh Mangat; (Account No. 501XXXXXXX8636).
After 3 weeks of no response, I somehow managed to contact him and asked for refund, which he did not.
