I have ordered for a t-shirt and a mug worth totally of Rs. 748 from www.ultaanda.com and wanted to ship it to New Jersey. The website said free shipping anywhere in India. But since I was ordering to the USA, I thought there would be shipping price charged. But the shipping was Rs. 0 as shown by the website when I ordered. I have attached a picture to prove that point. Since I did not take screenshots when I ordered, I just added new purchase (just for example) worth Rs. 399 just to show that the website says shipping cost is Rs.0 even to USA.
The website customer care executive (Manav Singhal) said that the shipping to overseas cannot be done. If the shipping is not done overseas, the website should not have options to send it to USA in the address column. But it had “United States of America” and States within the USA on their address panel when a customer enters where to ship the merchandise. I have attached another picture for reference. Again, since I did not take screenshots when I originally ordered, I just added new purchase (just for example) worth Rs. 399 just to show that the website says shipping is actually available to the USA and not only India. Theoretically, if the website does not ship outside India, it should not have options of USA there. Also the website just says “Free shipping all over India” and does not mention “no shipping outside India”
Manav Singhal accepted his mistake on his website (I have the chain of email documents of this) and agreed to refund the money (Rs. 748) entirely to my bank account on 16th May 2014. He mentioned that the refund would hit my account within 4-5 business days. Manav or Ulta Anda have neither have replied to my emails nor have they picked the phone calls to the phone number mentioned on their website since then.
I am not really worried about the Rs. 748 here, but the tone and attitude of the way this case was dealt with my Manav was unacceptable. Please help!

Same kind of thing happened with me on 16 th may only. I placed an order for a tshrt, put in my card details. The money got debited from my account but the website said transaction failed. When i contacted the website and spoke to manav he assured me refund but till date nothing has been done and there is no response from their side. Poor service. Please shop from reputed companies like flipkart or amazon.
