HARASSMENT – RATION SHOP(089)-Shop No.10 On 2nd January 2016, (Saturday) I went to our ration shop at Adambakkam (089), shop no. 10 for the purchase of our monthly requirements. I took my family ration card and also my parent’s family ration card. My father is 89 years old and he cant walk, therefore i used to buy for his requirements also, when i buy for myself. The person, who is in–charge of that ration shop, refused to give the provisions for my parent’s card stating that i cant buy for 2 ration card at a time and i have to come after few days to purchase for my parent’s ration. There was no one after me in that ration shop at that time. Hence i requested there is no crowd, why do i have to come another day instead he can give it today itself, but still he refused and insisted that i have to come another day. I find it ridiculous that i cant buy on the same day but i can buy after few days even when there is no one at the shop at that time. it is merely a harassment for the people. Hope the concerned authorities give proper instructions to the ration shop in-charge forthwith. When we talk somuch about helping Super Senior citizen, we cant help them getting their rations.
