I want to put a complaint against one of airtel agencies and airtel themselves. SMB SERVICES – 9842 channel code. who has fraudulently sold the 4G sim to Ranjana Pandit (my mother)who does not have a smart phone nor does she knows how to use a smart phone, messaging internet etc. She is a 60 year old lady who knows nothing about gadgets. Representative named honey Singh visits her and start filling the form for porting her number from vodaphone to airtel. He keeps talking and takes all her deatils, takes her phone sends a text message from her phone to vodaphone to port the number and gives her the sim by charging 300 cash. Unaware of what and why all this is happening my mother is asked him from where can I do the recharge and he says it a billing and you will only have to pay 199. When my mother tells him she does not want the plan and wants to cancel the whole thing he says it will be good if you convert to airtel since you will get more benefits and only be charged 199 per month. He does not tell her that it’s the monthly rental plan. I call airtel customer care on 28th Dec 2015, and they tell me that they have disconnected the services and the number can go back to vodaphone, when I go to airtel gallery on 29th Dec 2015, amol Shinde the manager takes no action. He assurese me he will call me the next day and confirm action against the agency, but he fails to call me. I get a call from smb services Mr. AZiz who says he is calling me from airtel and says the number is activated from 30th Dec. Your customer service people cannot find this number active but your gallery guys find the number active , a big question mark for me. I leave from your gallary with no response other forcefully keeping the number with airtel. I have not yet tele verified the sim, nor will I do that coz I don’t want to get billed.

Secondly this number 9226008626 originally was in my name gitanjali Narwankar and this man who comes to sell airtel, does not take my consent before transferring the number from my name to my mother name. He simply tells my mother to give her documents and this number will be transferred to her name. Isn’t this a fraud? Transferring a number to someone without taking the owners permission isn’t that treated as fraud? Your VASAI airtel gallery manager Amol Shinde and the agency owner Aziz does not feel that it’s a fraud. He in return is asking me why did your mother give him documents and give him to handle the phone?…

My third complaint is about porting a VASAI thane circle number to Mumbai! Why was it ported to mumbai? Now when I am asking the gallery people to give the same circle where I was, I am being told it cannot be possible due to TRAI REGULATIONS. Really? So you mean to so no exceptions???

Fourth complain is that I am being told to go to Mumbai and change this number from post paid to prepaid. Submit all documents again and the number will get converted to prepaid. Your thane VASAI circle gallery won’t do this coz its against TRAI REGULATIONS! Really??

This number was a pre paid number with vodaphone and now its a post paid with airel, I don’t need this connection with airtel anymore. You guys have a bunch of frauds sittings out there in these agencies and your airel gallery. People who only give customers run around and mental torture.

Can I have some one look into this matter at the earliest with a satisfactory resolution?

I have attached the receipt which was given to my mother.
