My Aunt, her son and I had applied for a plot of land at Max Meadows, Doddaballapur Road provided by Maxworth Realty India Ltd a couple of years ago. During July 2015, due to lack of land approval (by Bangalore International Airport Area Planning Authority), they said the land will not be allotted to us any time soon. On hearing this we requested for the refund of advance (Rs. 1, 00, 000 for each plot) paid. They mentioned they would return the money in 5 – 6 months.

On approaching them in December 2015, they mentioned they would process the refund on 11 Jan 2016. Ever since then, we have been making 2 – 3 trips to their office (12/2, KMP House, Near Shivananda Circle, Madhava Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560001) every week with unfavourable results. After begging and prodding, they have released part of the amount. Their so called DGM is also unable to process our refunds. The personnel in the office are callous in their attitude towards customers and seem to take us for a ride. On digging further, we found out that this has been the case with everyone who has applied for a plot at Max Meadows. Every time we visit their office, there are a few people who are shouting at them or head out crying in utter disbelief.

While doing an internet search (mostly consumer complaint forums) about them, I found that this has been habitual nature and they take innocent citizens like us to task every time we ask for a refund. Doesn’t all this amount to harassment? They even have the guts to say “you can go to court”.

It would be great if you could help us, the Max Meadows applicants get our refund back.
