karttoshop_EPayKerela MUMBA IN Complaints & Reviews

By: Soumen Ghosh

On last 25th April, around 2.00 pm, I received a call from Karttoshop_EPayKerela in my mobile. They were telling my Credit Card number and all about my recent payment details already paid and due amount. They were asking me about last 8 digits of my card no. and telling to verify me. I denied to tell them. But they were continuously forcing me to tell that. At last I told them my last 8 digit nos. and expiry date and cvv. Because they knew my card details at all and tried to verify that. Last of all after providing OTP, Rs. 7802/- was debited from my account. They told that within next 24 hours, it will be credited in my account plus I shall receive reward amount equivalent of Rs. 6000/-. They were Vijay Kumar (employee id: 150293) and Ruchi Verma (employee id: NH2785981). Their mobile no.s were +917428140343 & +919015666531. They were calling from Bangalore – they told me that. They also told me to save this nos. But I called them on 29th April, 2017 because I did not receive anything from them. On that day, Vijay Kumar told me that this is under processing and I shall receive this one very soon probably on 2nd or 3rd May, 2017. But on 30th April Sunday, I received a phone call from SBI, Gurgaon, Delhi and one lady told that this company was fraud. Then on my request, they blocked my card and told that they would try to refund this amount, but no commitment. Now I request you how can I return this amount?

Today morning at 10.45 a.m, I received a call from a person claiming to be from SBI Master Card Department , Gurgaon and they have told my card No. and also about my recent payment details and due amount. They were asking me to confirm the last 8 digits of my card no.which I refused. But they were continuously forcing me to tell that.
They have informed that, because of regular payment from the date purchase of credit card, I will be getting a cash reward of Rs..6000.00 against the accumulated balance of reward points for which i have to furnish the CVV and OTP No. I refused to give the details, however they were continuously insisting that they are from SBI Card Department and they have given their employee numbers also.
The person have called are Mr.Vijay Kumar – Emp. No. 150293, Ms.Ruchi Verma – Emp No. NH2785981 and Me.Priya Verma –Emp No.629248 and their mobile no.s are +917428140343 & +919015666531.
After continuous discussions, I have given the CVV and OTP No. I am shocked to find that instead of crediting Rs.6000.00, there was a debit of Rs.7698/- (copy enclosed).
Immediately I called them and enquired about the Debit of Rs.7698/- instead of Credit of Rs,6,000.00.
They have informed that, within 48 hours, it will be credited in my account plus I shall receive reward amount of Rs. 6000/-.
However, I got a doubt and checked on the Web. I came to know that it is a fraud, they have cheated one Mr. Soumen Ghosh also.
I request you to treat this email as a complaint and direct the concerned department of the bank to conduct a thorough enquiry into the fraud perpetrated on unsuspecting customers. Please take up the matter with RBI and also cyber crimes cell.
I also request you to take necessary steps to recredit the amount fraudulently siphoned off from my account.
Anticipating an early action from you.
