Cheques presented are not clearing from the Branch

What ever cheques we presented for clearance to the Bank.They are not clearing even after 5 days also,we got enquired in the branch ,the reason is insufficient man power & staff strength is not enough.In the financial year end with great difficulty we are collecting payments,In that this is the issue of Banks.Please find the solution at the earliest.
