I had ordered UbiSlate 3G7 tablet online with datawind on January 5th, 2014. It was delivered on Jan 9th through FedEx. However, the keyboard case was broken at the edges and three of the keys were lifted off.But the tablet was good (physically) at the the time of delivery.
I immediately contacted datawind through mail and they gave me a complaint number.
The complaint number they gave me: 0110KT1970
They asked me to hand over the device to ‘Service point’ in Bangalore for replacement.
‘Service point’ collected the broken keyboard case and the jobsheet number is : DA14A1101000038.
It has been 5 months since.
I have not received my keyboard case.
I contacted their (Datawind) customer care number 0183-2581330 and everytime they say it will take 7 MORE DAYS to process for the past 5 months.
Meanwhile my ubislate tablet does not recognise sim nor does it connect to wi-fi. I have handed over the device to the Service point. They say it is software problem and they need to get the software from datawind office. They are unable to give me another jobsheet number as the previous case is still pending. I immediately contacted Datawind office and they gave me a complaint number on April 22nd.
complaint number: GL0422KT3940.
No action has been taken so far.
I had bought it to gift it but it is uselessly stuck with ‘Service point/ datawind’
