I’m a B.Tech. Civil Engg. Graduate , I visited this consultancy in Late February, after they called me by receiving my details from shine.com, this consultancy promised to provide the job of civil engineer trainee against a deposit of Rs.10,000 (refundable in case of no job offer or job offer not accepted).So, I paid them the money(while paying they initially demanded 16500 but then took 10000), one interview was provided which I understood was fake, but then after calling them for another few weeks they said I was selected in a different company( one the one i gave interview in),but then demand demanded Rs. 30000 for the job, when I refused they told me to take refund of the 10000 initially paid, and as a result I applied for the refund since every time I’m calling them, they’re saying it’ll take time and they’ll call me in a couple of days, but its been 1.5 months like this, and haven’t refunded.
