I am a Final Year B-tech civil degree student . I am one of the victim of the Job fraud activity of Golden Sparrow e-services.
I registered on Shine.com which is a job portal. On the next day One of the officials called me on phone addressing them as calling from shine.com. The call was dropped. Then today they called me in the morning and they said that today there is a telephonic interview in the evening. They directed me to pay to an amount of Rupees 2250 in any HDFC Bank. They said that they will give the details after reaching the bank. The bank was operational only till noon since it’s a Saturday. I reached the bank and missed them a call. They called back and sent a text message to my inbox regarding account no. ifsc etc.
The calls were from these numbers:
9250401241,9212722447 The account was named “Golden sparrow”. I felt something wrong at this stage and googled golden sparrow, but internet was unavailable, I paid the cash. I called them back, and they cut the call and called me back. They directed me to send the Photo, Id proof and the receipt of fee payment from bank to mail: [email protected]. I did that after which they informed me that there will be telephonic interview at 3 pm by L&T HR.
The calls were from these numbers:
9250401241, 9212722447
Call came at 3.15 pm and they handed the call to the so called “L&T HR”. The questions which they provided earlier was asked by him. He informed me that details will be provided on coming monday.
I reached home and rewinded the whole process. I felt extremely wrong somewhere. I googled “golden sparrow services” then I was shocked to see the results.

At each stage of call were i felt the doubt was answered by them:
1)I asked them there is no oppertunity shown up at L&T website.They said it is fast recruitment.
2)I asked about the fees. They said it is to generate a code for me for interview and is fully refundable after the interview.
There was very short time to think.
I felt extreme anger and regret.
They wasted my full day today and I could not attend an exam due to this.
I lost my money and time.
