I have been also victim of exorbitant download charges for downloads that I have never done. Actually at the time the charges are shown on my invoice the phone was never used at all.

In October 2014 there were charges for Rs.49 for WapVille download. After complaining to TRAI and Vodafone Appalet, the charges were reversed but only with a warning that GPS and Internet services should be used with care.

Now in December 2014 invoice it is the second time in succession that I am seeing charges for a download that I have never done. This time for d2c_ndtv_valuepk_9 for Rs.99/- for a download on 31st Dec at 23:00 night. Both these time the phone was not used at all. The last call made from that number was on 30th Dec 12:40 for one minute.

I think there is some flaw in the Vodafone Internet service that is allowing download to sneak in. I have no choice but to complain to TRAI.
