I purchased a two-year trial Timeshare membership of Club Group of Hotels – Destination Resorts India Pvt. Ltd, on 11 August 2013 for Rs. 29500, at sales Venue “01A Ansal Plaza Mall, Vaishali, Ghaziabad, in which I am entitled to avail 6 nights holiday per year at no extra cost at various resorts and hotels mentioned in the list provided to us. At the time of taking the membership we were informed by their representative that we need not pay any extra amount for two years. After taking the membership, first time when I tried to avail the holiday in November 2013, I was not given booking stating that there is no booking available.
Second time, when I wanted to book my holiday, I informed the concerned person about booking 25 days in advance, but my booking was only confirmed at last moment, just 16 hours before, and that too after many followups and calls and for that booking I was asked to pay extra money to the Hotel, which I had to pay unwillingly. Now, third time, I informed the concerned person on April 14, 2014, that I want to book 2 nights at Nainital at Club Groups Own property for May 24, 2014, that date has passed by but I have not received any response regarding booking.
We e-mailed to Club Group of Hotels at every available e-mail ID, made phone calls, sent SMS, and mailed to their Ramnagar, Uttarakhand office, but we did not get any response of those e-mails as well. I also mailed them my holiday request through post, but they have not responded to that as well. They have closed their Delhi office, the address of which was provided to me at the time of taking membership and contact numbers of their Delhi office are out of order. We have not received any communication thereafter regarding their new address, if any. We called their Ramnagar, Uttarakhand, office many times but we got no response on our booking. It seems that they are just interested in making members and taking money from them and they do not have any intentions to provide benefits as promised to their members. At the time of making members they offer gifts and free holiday vouchers to lure customers. I have audio recordings of all conversations with Mr. Asif who is the concerned person for booking holidays (Destination Resorts India Pvt. Ltd) and with Club Group of Hotels and SMS sent. I do not want to continue my membership and want my whole money back with interest and with compensation for mental harassment. I would like to bring to your notice that there are many other people like us who are facing same problem with Club Group of Hotels-Destination Resorts India Pvt. Ltd.
